Let’s celebrate!! So, I’ve been working on this blog of mine. Trying to get it up and running. It’s been about three weeks of working on the backend trying to get everything done.
I’ve been writing, creating content, photoshoots… everything for the last few weeks. If you’ve never created a website from scratch out of the clear blue sky you have to do it in order to appreciate the beauty of a site. I actually really enjoy creating something from nothing. I learned .html coding in high school. Back then it was a different kind of charter high school than today. All students needed to apply to get into. And all students had to take a technical trade class in which I chose web coding.
Nowadays there are so many website hosts who have made it easier in creating a layout for a website but everything else still needs to be created such as content, pictures, color scheme… there’s a lot to be finished. The functionality of the whole website has to be created.
So what happened when there was a mishap with my blog I was switching domains. When I made some changes on the backend, it wasn’t fully functional. There were other things that needed to be done but I thought I had lost everything. I didn’t really lose everything, it just was not populating correctly on the web browser. And I happen to also lock myself out of my user. But I needed access in order to correct it so that happened and I went into a panic so I reversed the change and rebooted the website.
I lost some content how to redo it over again and reverse the changes. Now we are back up and running but as you can see the header image on the site it says, ‘it’s Meliss’. Very simple and casual for a blog site I am that pretty much explains what it’s website about.
We are back up and running.. it still needs a couple more tweaks need to be made but nothing to worry about simple fixes. So, let’s celebrate! Rootbeer floats from my favorite Creamistry! The best ice cream in my opinion of all time it is so smooth and thick. Your ice cream doesn’t melt when it’s in the rootbeer. Yuuummmy!
So now ya know! Comment below and let me know what you think since I’ve made more changes since opening day! 😉
