Hey Friends! So glad you stopped by!
As you know, I have kids… three of them. Lol. So my pantry and everything inside can get pretty messy. Let’s be real, it gets super messy. My kids help themselves to whatever they want. They make their own PB & J or cereal and snacks.. so it stays messy. :/ The kids also help put groceries away so that explains why everything was put away wherever in no particular order to begin with.
So fed up!
It’s so frustrating searching through the shelves, but I finally made time to clean it out and get it organized. So, I wiped out the whole pantry. All the shelves, everything was thrown out. Literally, my kitchen was covered with everything from the pantry for several days until I found a home for each item.
After tossing out everything I didn’t need or didn’t *spark joy* I lined each shelf with these liners. I actually had to buy several of these to fully cover the shelves. I found it on Amazon for under $15 and free shipping because I used my Prime membership!!
I purchased these OXO storage containers for all my cereals, oatmeal, granola, pretzels, etc. They’re so awesome because one box of regular sized cereal fits in the container. Now, I don’t need to worry about cereal bags being left open. I can throw away all the boxes. And believe it or not, it saves so much space! I’ve got three sets of these bad boys since they’re pourable. They are air tight and your cereal won’t go stale! These go for $46 a set on Amazon. Mixes and Flour
Now, for all my flours, mixes, pastas, chocolate chips, cocoa powder, and all that goodness… I purchased this 10 piece air tight container set. There is a large button on top that you push down to allow the suction of the lid to seal the container. The reason why I like it because it keep my flour, coffee, and other baking essentials fresher, longer! I purchased two of these sets and they run $100. I know it’s pricey… trust me I shopped around, but it’s still $100. And with Amazon Prime, I didn’t have to leave my house… just kept on cleaning the pantry! 😉
I got used these little shelf containers for the kids grab and go snacks. They’re available in different lengths and heights, so I’d suggest purchasing the ones that work best for your storage needs. Click the link to see your options.
I see the floor!
I freed up some floor space by asking the hubs to install this handy wall mount for your mop and broom. In my case, I have a large dust mop because I have so much floor to clean up. So, it works great in holding up the mop and brooms off the floor. It’s conveniently placed behind my pantry door, so if I don’t need it, I won’t see it! 😉 Just under $11 on Amazon!
Now… here is the big reveal… before pantry makeover… dun dun dunnnn….
and the after… ta-dah!
What a transformation!
